About

Toni Sterling is a Caribbean American Lighting Designer based in Atlanta, GA. She currently works as a Theatrical Lighting Designer, Lighting Consultant, Educator, and Mentor especially for designers of color.

She is well versed in lighting design for plays, musicals, dance, and non-traditional theatrical spaces, and has consulted on many theatre renovations and construction projects in Atlanta.

She received her Masters of Fine Arts at the University of Connecticut, specializing in lighting design. 

Fun Facts:

Her educator journey started at the age of 16, as an art instructor at the Boys and Girls Club.

Turtles and tortoises are her favorite animals.

Practicing archery is her favorite hobby.

She has been designing for over ten years
